Abstract
One of the most intensive component of the furniture sector is the Arm Profile. Carrying out correctly of the sensitive operations such as drilling, adding nut and welding is very important. In this work, an automation system for arm profile production is designed by using Yaskawa MP2310iec motion controller and Codesys programming platform. The system consisting of three sections as Feeding Section, Intermediate Section and Rotary Step Module contains 13 servo motors, 1 HMI and 3 AC asynchronous motors. Due to the system designed, the daily production capacity has been increased and also risky situations in terms of the occupational health and safety has been decreased. In terms of a SCADA program integrated into the system, the instantaneous status of the system, the daily production capacity, the follow up of faults in the system and the product study times become recordable.
