The Analysis of Factors Affecting Milk Cost in Cattle Breeding Enterprises: A Case Study in Tokat, Turkey
Abstract :
This research has been carried out in the district of Turhal, in the province of Tokat in 2006. The purpose of the research is to analyze the factors affecting the cost in the cattle breeding enterprises. In this research, 100 cattle breeding enterprises, 50 of which have the animal insurances and 50 of which do not have, have been analyzed. The data of 2006 were gathered through the questionnaires. The information gathered has been organized according to the enterprises and regression analysis has been carried out. According to the results of the analysis, it has been determined in the enterprises that bought animal insurance, the cost of milk decreased by 0.08 TL/lt .
