Abstract
This study was conducted to compare leaching strategies effective on salt movement and leaching from soil columns under laboratory conditions by applying 93 cm leaching water intermittently into 5 intervals. The leaching water were applied on light and medium textured soils. Time between leaching intervals were decided according to three different moisture drying ratios (15%, 30% 45%). There were statistically significant differences among the results of leaching applications at different moisture levels of soils at all depths. The most effective salt leaching from the soil profile was %45 moisture drying level for both light and medium textured soils. Under the conditions of 45% moisture drying level with leaching water depth as 1,5 fold of soil depth; 91,52% of total salt for light textured soil, 87,57% of total salt at medium textured soil were leached out
