L’université marocaine face au défi de la responsabilité sociale
Abstract :
Every organization, including the university, is constantly under the influence of its environment with all its dimensions: economic, political, technological but also cultural and social. At the same time, it plays a decisive role in its evolution. The university can not therefore be considered as an island completely cut off from society, which is a major component of its environment. It is certainly affected by social facts and has a major role to play in supporting territorial development and social cohesion. This is called the social responsibility of the university (RSU). While in many European universities, social responsibility is one of the strategic priorities, the Moroccan university does not seem to lend much interest to the aspirations of the people. She does not really care about the problems facing society. This contribution is part of a perspective of necessary adoption by the Moroccan university of an extroverted and socially responsible management style. The implementation of a strategy integrating social dimensions would, indeed, likely to make the university a more citizen organization. This would allow it to play a leading role in socio-economic development.
