Abstract
There are many teaching centres for foreigners founded in order to teach Turkish, which is one of the biggest languages in terms of the number of people who speak it and the geography where it is spoken. The number of these centres in Turkey and in the world is increasing day by day and teaching Turkish to the foreigners is gaining momentum on the way of getting a more academic and professionalid.The aim of this study is to give information generally about Turkish Teaching Centres in Turkey whose targets are to transfer foreign language and Turkish as a second language and Turkish culture to those from other cultures, and peculiarly about Ataturk University Language Teaching Application and Research Centre.
