INNER SPEECH TECHNIQUE IN BOOK OF DEDE KORKUT
Abstract :
Book of Dede Korkut is a work of an adaptation which has two copies and not just reflects a style of thinking but also includes folkloric elements inside intensely. Thus Book of Dede Korkut which is seen as a work of transition from sagas to folktales can be read as an example of religious historical and sociological transition. It is a clear example of mentioned situation is that not to differentaite between Islamic culture and elements of mythical rituels and seeing not just Islamic rituels but also behavior and expressions against Islamic culture. Beside Book of Dede Korkut gains value by using modern novels techniques in mentioned term. One of these techniques is inner speech which is firstly used intensely by Recaizade Mahmut Ekrem in 1886 in Turkey. In this study examples of technique of inner speech in Book of Dede Korkut is shown. Thus it is tried to be shown that a technique, ideology, method or periodic features are used before systematizing it and with the results of technique of inner speech Book of Dede Korkut’s literary and folkloric importance will be emphasized again.
