The author Didier Daeninckx, in this work called Cannibal, depicts some events during this exhibition of the 1931 Paris Colonial Exhibition. As it is known, colonization is that a powerful country captures territory of a weaker country due to political and economic intentions. Colonial exhibition is designed to conceal such a perception and is regarded as a tool to highlight that the colonization should not be understood as brutal force. This work describes the dramatic story of some hundred Kanaks, collected to take to Paris, to represent their country during the colonial exhibition and narrates inhuman events in which the Kanaks are exposed in Paris. What is important for the French people was to show the great france image to the world. On the process of the realisation of this purpose, it is seen how the human characteristics corrupt and how humains are transformed into a commercial vehicle with materialist conception. Besides, in this article, the focus is emphasized on racism, violation of human rights and freedoms and the social sensitivity is try to be awakened.
