Morpholgical awareness refers to making use of procedures such as evaluating the morphological structure of words, comprehension of the words that are morphologically complex, observing the relations of words with other units, explaining inter-sentence transitions, observing the relations between units in texts in the process of comprehension of texts that include criteria of textuality and consists of components such as morpgological, syntactic, semantic in the language system. Our study aims to explain the relationship between morphological awareness and comprehension of texts. As a result, it was observed that there is a direct relationship between morphological awareness and text comprehension, suggestions have been made to make use of the ability to relate word/concept domain for obtaining information by gaining morpholgical awareness about predicting the meaning of words in texts in foreign language exams.
