Abstract :
Researches related to Manavgat district in the first times of Turkish Republic are not too much in the bibliography. The subject of research consists of Manavgat’ administration form, its economy and transportation working, natural disasters and community groups in that early years of the Turkish Republic. The subject of the research is to learn about the recent history of Manavgat district. In the process of gathering data, it was benefited from Prime Ministry Ottoman Archives, Prime Ministry of Turkish Republic Archives, Turkey Commercial Salnames, Konya Province Salnames and manuscripts. Variables discussed in the research chronologically has been written under titles. The research has a meaning in terms of recognition of Manavgat in the recent years which is an outstanding sub-district of Antalya province.
