DETERMINATION OF BORDER LAYOUT IN FIELD CONDITIONS OF BAFRA PLAIN
Abstract :
In this study, 1.5, 2.0 and 2.5 L/s/m flow rates were applied to the borders with 5 m width and 100 m length, and advance and recession times of flow rates were recorded at the stations which were 10 m spacing. The advances curves were drawn by using these advance times. The time curves were obtained by adding the net infiltration time to the advance times. The average lengths of borders for particular flow rates obtained by intersecting the time curves with recession curves were 94.0 m, 102.4, and 118.7 m.
