Abstract :
The objective of this study was to determine the influence of different sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) curtivars (A71, M69, Califa, Oleko, Oliva, Sanay ve Sanbro) on the plant height (cm), the head diameter (cm), the seed yield (kg/da), oil content (%) and oil yield (kg/da) in Ankara/Haymana Ecological Condition. This study was carried out in 2009. Mean data for plant height (cm) among the cultivars ranged from 101,77 to 127,53 cm. Mean data for the head diameter (cm) among the cultivars ranged from 12,67 to 14,57 cm. Mean data for seed yield (kg/da) among the cultivars ranged from 135,5 to 240,6 kg/da. Mean data for oil content (%) among the cultivars ranged from 36,83 to 46,13 %. Mean data for oil yield (kg/da) among the cultivars ranged from 50,07 to 91,80 kg/da. A71 cultivar gave the highest value of the seed yield (240,60 kg/da). The highest oil content (% 46.13) was recorded for Oliva cultivar
