Title Of Article :
The effects of NaCl added in nutrient solutions on the ratios K/Na and Ca/Na, the nutrition of tomato plant growing in substrate culture
Abstract :
The aim of this study was to determined the effects of NaCl added in the increasing doses to the nutrient solutions on the ratios of K/Na and Ca/Na, the nutrition of tomato plant growing in substrate culture. NaCl were found to have effects on the nutrient element contents and rates of tomato leaves. The effect of NaCl added in nutrient solution on the K/Na and Ca/Na levels in leaves of tomato were found statistically significant at 0.01 levels. NaCl added in nutrient solution decreased the rates K/Na and Ca/Na of leaves significantly. The effect of NaCl added to the nutrient solution on the content of N, P, Mg, S, Fe, Zn and Cu in leaves of tomato were found statistically insignificant. But, the effect of NaCl added in nutrient solution on the content of K, Na, Ca, Mn and B in leaves of tomato were found significant statistical respectively at 0.01-0.05-0.05-0.05 and 0.01 levels. NaCl added to the nutrient solution decreased the content of K, Ca, Mn ve B of the leaves of tomato, but significantly increased the content of Na.
