AN ALAWI TROUBADOUR FROM ADANA: ADMONITION FROM HACI ALİ ŞEN’S POEMS

In order to determine troubadourness custom of Troubadour Hacı Ali Şen and his importance in Adana Troubadourness Custom, troubadourness custom was explained firstly. In this context, how troubadour type was created, the development period of troubadour literature in Anatolia was tried to be revealed; then, it was mentioned that troubadourness custom in Adana was started by Karacaoğlan and this period gained a new way in the region after Konya Troubadours Festival in 1966; structures such as çift ayak, dedim-dedi, leb-değmez, sicilleme, muamma-lugaz etc. began to be used within this period. Finally, admonition term in troubadour literature was highlighted for explaining admonition term of Hacı Ali Şen better. Then, Hacı Ali Şen’s troubadourness, structure in his admonition poems (his life, troubadourness, ability to play an instrument-saz, interpretation on master-apprentice relationship, getting his appellation, content of his poems …) and the effect of Alewi-Bektashi belief system in the troubadour’s poems of admonition (behaving humanly, keeping the environment, science, good manners, not doing evil things with hand, back or tongue) was tried to be revealed, and with this aim; the troubadour’s 20 admonition poems – for not exceeding page limit explaining just the first and the last quatrains – was examined.
