Abstract :
Synovial hemangioma is a rare benign intraarticular tumor. It causes pain and recurrent joint swelling in children and young adults. Here, we present a 25-year-old patient with a synovial hemangioma in the right knee joint. Magnetic resonance (MR) imaging showed the typical features of a soft tissue hemangioma. The tumor was locally excised.The histopathologic evaluation revealed a synovial hemangioma.
