Abstract :
Types of concrete structures is increasing every day. Cement concrete production in order to improve the properties, increase the resistance of concrete and ensure the economy with pozzolanic materials are used in mineral properties. In recent years studies, the puzzolanic material of the ash obtained from agricultural waste, certain operations can be used as indicated. In our country is very high agricultural potential. Rice is grown in regions, sized environmental pollution can not be underestimated, especially occurring after the harvesting season. To give the ash of rice straw industry for both contribute to the country s economy and reduce the environmental pollution will be useful. In this research, the rice straw from agricultural wastes as controlled temperatures 400oC, 500oC, 600oC 700oC, 800oC, 900oC and 1000oC for 1,5 hours as a result of burning and grinding the ash is obtained. Pozzolanic feature of the obtained ashes were analyzed by physical and mechanical methods. Result of the analysis, temperature of 600 degrees centigrade (600oC) for 1,5 hours in a controlled incineration of rice straw ashes obtained from the ash pozzolanic activity was found to be the best.
