Abstract :
In this study, the effect of high pressure jet cooling on the surface roughness during turning of Titanyum (Ti-6Al-4V ELI) super alloy which has a large using area in the aerospace, aircraft and biomedical industries were investigated. The Turning tests were performed with high-pressure jet coolant cooling system under different pressures (6 ve 100 bar), different feed rates (0.2-0.25-0.3 and 0.4 mm / rev), different cutting speeds (80-100-120 mm/min) and also 2 mm of constant depth of cut. As a result, while the surface roughness increases with increasing of feed rate, the no positive effect of water pressure on surface roughness was observed.
