Effective g-Factor of Electrons in the Kane Type Quantum Rings

Abstract
In this study, two coaxial Kane type semiconductor quantum rings have been taken into consideration. When inner quantum ring has penetrable delta potential barrier on the boundary, outer ring has infinite potential barrier on the boundary. Applied uniform magnetic field directed along the axis of rings. We have calculated g-factor as a function of potential strength of electron, where g-factor is spin splitting factor. It has been obtained that the effective g-value of the electrons increases with increasing of the positive value of Ω. We have seen the oscillations that the energy of electron according to varying of the magnetic quantum number m.
