Abstract :
Today, in an environment in which there is a wide range of products through the pressure of intensive competition and globalization, a reduction in the life courses of products, a rapid change in the requests and expectations of consumers, it has become compulsory for enterprises that would like to work in a cost and efficiency-oriented manner to monitor manufacturing and to develop performance benchmarking systems. In this sense, the Total Equipment Effectiveness (TEE), which is one of the main applications of the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) approach, is one of the most commonly used performance metric in manufacturing enterprises. However, TEE fails to be sufficient due to the necessity of evaluating manufacturing in terms of many aspects and as it is used at the level of equipment. Therefore, there are many metrics that can be used in manufacturing processes in terms of both holistic and individual aspects. There have been studies and standards with different approaches on these metrics both in the literature and in industries for long years. The main aim of this study that has been conducted based on this approach is to put forth the performance metrics that can be used in manufacturing processes based on the literature and in a holistic way.
