Abstract :
This study, within the framework the public sphere discussions, aims to analyze the perception of the public sphere in Turkey and to investigate the mutual relations of the actors in this area. Public sphere which has been abandoned to the state, has been possessed by the state and has been excluded other actors by the state is problematic with current view. Also a technical solution to this problem, which is the subject of various theoretical discussions is not possible. This difficulty is due to a certain historicity, social, political and economic accumulation/conglomeration of this problem. Within this accumulation, one of the actors will be visible in the public sphere are organized structures. Organized structures in Turkey are acting as a subsidiary-passive and dependent part, rather than acting as a basic-autonomous actor of the public sphere. Therefore, this largely removes the theoretically predicted transformative effect of the public sphere. The focus of this study is precisely on this point. In other words, the study questions the public sphere, which should have a transformative influence, has a transforming content due to the problematic relation of organized structures with the state. In the final analysis, considering on the possibility and results of confrontation of state and organized structures in public sphere, will mean to consider with the essential features of public sphere in Turkey.
