Abstract :
The purpose of the present study is to determine conflict’s subject in the banks in Erzurum and to analyze the relationship between conflict management styles. Conflict management aims to reach pozitive results for personal and organizational development and to prevent negative results. For that purpose, in this study, a questionnaire, which is composed of two scales, namely causes of Conflict and Conflict Management Styles, was applied. A total of 90 employees from government and private bank’s employees completed questionnaires. According to the findings; employees’s demographic characteristics have a positive relationship with conflict management styles that they prefer. The results of this study will analyze the relationship on causes of conflicts and conflict management styles and can lead the way for the future researches.
