Abstract
In scheduling studies, most literature assumes that the processing times and due dates of jobs are fixed. However, in some production systems, when processing times need to be considered, human factor becomes influential, that is, processing times decrease by repeating the process. This situation is defined as learning effect in literature. This paper considers a single machine scheduling problem with fuzzy processing times and fuzzy due dates learning effect.The objective function of the problem is minimization number of the Earliness/Tardiness jobs. A model is developed solving the problem that belongs to NP-hard class. Also the model is tested on an example.
