Abstract :
Post-traumatic stress disorder is a mental disorder which emerges after an important incident that causes trauma and avoidance of factors that reminds about the trauma and it is a disorder that progresses with traumatic dreams and reliving of experiences and that lasts at least one month. The diagnosis of an chronic ıllness or acute exposure to event may cause some symptoms of PTSB on the child and parents. Early diagnosis of PTSD for both child and the parents has an important role in nursing care plans given in health care services.
