Abstract
Continent urinary diversion is an ideal intervention to create a bladder with sufficient capacity to provide full dryness, dismiss need for diaper when bladder does not fulfill its storage and drainage functions and when these malfunctions cannot be treated medically. However, it seems as a surgical operation which affects patient s life quality adversely and scary for patients in every age group. For a patient suffering from the urinary diversion, nursing care is significantly important to live a quality life in terms of psychological and social aspects. In provision of the quality service, proof-based applications are utilized.This compilation aims to emphasize proof-based approaches created by the European Association of Urology Nursing (EAUN), which can be used to preserve and maintain health of the patients who experienced urinary diversion operation.
