Abdülhak Hamit Tarhan, who modernized the tradition-based understanding of Turkish poetry in terms of form and content, but also constituted a new viewpoint in terms of mental conception of nature. Both in poetry and theatre works, he displayed the nature with an unusual perspective, and has associated almost every topic that he discussed with nature. Even though foundation of his Makber named work is questioning of the philosophical thoughts of death, in this work it is also possible to experience many aspects of nature. In this study, the innovations for nature perception that brought by Abdülhak Hamit is discussed on Makber basis.
