Abstract :
Portraits of Fayum, in Egypt s Fayum are labeled with this name for the underground cemeteries were taken out. Portraits of Egypt under the rule of the Roman Empire period, the A.D. I - III. carried through the centuries. These portraits were depicted like contemporary portraits, a style reminiscent in today. These portraits were depicted individual characteristics of the model, a detailed style. In this study, which is made to accompany the deceased during the journey of infinite unknowns in this portraits are tried to clarify.
