Abstract
Culture is the group of instruments which are being used for two purposes: T create all material and non material valves which were spawned during social development and to convey them to the next generation. Having passed to sedentary life, mankind was obliged to apply the culture values, traditions and beliefs of the society that they attended, either willingly or unwillingly; under social-culture valves. Under this obligation, from old ages to today; technological, social and some uncertain reasons of failures have been searched. People tried to and secret powers, explaining and taking precautions for these. According to Boratav, amulet is a case that results in really bad on humans or animals by glimpse of people whose aims are evil. Those evil people may cause diseases or even dealths on humans or animal just staring at them. They also cause things or goods go bad because of their wicked eyes. These kind of people have bad intentions in their lifes. In Amulet Culture which dates back to ancient times. There are as many different amulet cultures the number of communities living on earth. Belief, practice and object of verbal culture about amulet culture in “Göller Bölgesi” are investigated through this article.
