Preliminary Investigations on Larvae and Pupae Parasitoids of Coccinellidae Family in Ankara Province

Abstract
The larvae and pupae of coccinellids were collected from the plants of parks, gardens and road side plantations in order to determine the parasitoids of coccinellid during from May to July, 2003 in Ankara. Collected samples were put in petri dishes for parasitoids emergence in the conditions of 28±1 °C, 65±10% RH and a photoperiod of 16L:8D h. in laboratory. In the results of the study, parasitoids species Aprostocetus neglectus Domenichini (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae), Homalotylus flaminius Dalman (Hymenoptera: Encyrtidae), Pachyneuron aphidis Bouche and P. muscarum Linnaeus (Hymenoptera: Pteromalidae) were found. Coccinellid species, which parasitoids were obtained, could not be identified. A. neglectus was found from all parasitized samples except three of them.
