Coppersmith art is one of our traditional Turkish handicrafts and continues to reflect the superior skill and pleasure of Anatolia’s people since thousands of years. Tinsmith profession developed in conjunction with copper is one of the rare crafts still wishing great mastery in Anatolia. The province of Sivas, is one of the most important centers of Anatolia whereas continues even today the Turkish handcrafts of the traditional applied art. The aim of this study is to prevent the today on the verge of being lost and forgotten partially continued tinsmith the profession in the province of Sivas. In this study, firstly we discussed the definitions relating tinsmith and the history of tinsmith. Later we conducted on materials and construction techniques used in tinsmith and touched its present state.
