This paper attempts to interrogate the justification of ethical-political values in modern political thought, and the problematic of how they have been universalized, in terms of the dominant form of legitimation which is conceptualized as imposing universality . Moreover, the paper also attempts to propose an alternative form ofjustification which is conceptualized as inviting universality to imposing universality , and seeks to illustrate how to theoretically construct the general framework of this form of justification.
