Abstract
Today, companies are operating in a highly competitive, fast changing and volatile business world. Companies that do not adapt to the changing business dynamics are less likely to survive. One of the most important changes occurring in the world is the globalization. Globalization result in opportunities and threats that need to be evaluated and managed for the success of the companies. In a globalised world, it is difficult for the companies to live just within the national boundaries. For this reason, companies need to consider engaging in the global operations. Many opportunities and threats are waiting as the companies globalize. Therefore, the success of the companies will depend on their abilities to turn these opportunities and threads into their advantages. This study investigates the globalization and its dynamics, highly mentioned topic in business world along with opportunities and threats. The study will also outline the globalization process and opportunities and threats experienced in this process.
