Abstract :
Today organizations are operating in global competitive environment and in this environment sensitive technological, economical, social and cultural changes are occurring and in such conditions organizations are trying to differantiate from their competitors. For this reason they have to be service oriented. Service orientation is an important strategical approach for both service and production organizations and it is also an element of organizational climate. For organizations, competitive advantage, customer satisfaction, customer loyalty, and organizational growth can be achieved by service orientation. Service orientation of an organization can be evaluated by perceptions of employees. The aim of this study is to examine both individual and organizational service orientation literature and present previous studies about service orientation.
