Abstract
Language skills cleave as comprehension and speech. While comprehension skills comprise of listening and reading, speech skills comprise of speaking and writing. Reading and listening comprehension for a person occurs at the end of development process. The child who begins educaion life forms the two skills within more planned process. Assessment and evaluation is one of the process stages. The aim of this study comprising researches about assessment and evaluation is to study assessment and evaluation based researches about comprehension skills in Turkish education and to submit the substantive examination from different perspectives. This study is bounded by secondary students, teacher candidates and Turkish teachers; comprehension skills and assessment and evaluation mainly. Literature search is made in this study. All sources obtained are examined in accordance with document research stages. Sources are made a card index singly by using 4N1K model. In the findings part, researches under the title of assessment and evaluation in Turkish education and assessment and evaluation weighted researches are mentioned. In conclusion, it has seen that the studies the studies Turkish education and researches involves assessment and evaluation diciplines have gained speed since 2005 but still alternative assessment and evaluation instrumentshaven’t given a place too much and multiple choice and open-ended questions are prefered for figüre of merit.
