  • Abstract
    The one of the biggest dreams of humankind is to benefit equally from human rights and began to want to make subject to the same status everyone regardless to their race, color, sex, religion, political opinion among the people. “Human rights” are the basic rights of people which have been born from the first days of humanity and progress with the human development. The notion of human rights refers to the compilation of alive the rights of an individual that he possesses for just being a human since his birth and that cannot interfere by either government or other individuals. Human rights are accepted as a kind of natural right. Because of they are priority considered to be originated from natural law. Human Rights recognized after bloodstained struggles in the West, are always thought only for men notably from and women forming the half of the human race have been excluded from these rights. This exclusion caused the break out of movement generally known as “feminism” which is asserting the equality of woman and man. Thereby, these rights don’t arise suddenly; they have been affected by changes occurred to the historical process. This process has been reflected in the constitutions. In this study, the development of women s rights as a human right in Turkey and their constitutional reflections is discussed.
