Abstract
The aim of study was to examine the dimensions of violence problem in soccer by reviewing literature. Today, soccer is one of the most common sport branches in the world and millions of people are interested in this sport for different reasons. The potential in question can create visual scenes in the tribunes with economy, literature and cinema culture specific to soccer, while on the other hand it can turn into violence on the axis of competition. This process is repeated before competition and after competition, at different times and in different places. In literature, when social events called vandalism and violence are examined, it can be seen that the issue can be discussed under four dimensions as managers, spectators, players and groups outside of football. It is possible to list the coordinates of these dimensions as spectators, managers, securities, media, tribune leaders, referees, soccer players, coaches and mafia-set-up-bet. Thus, it is thought that violence in soccer can be understood more easily with the definitions of these basic concepts in terms of purposes and functions.
