Abstract
The survival chance of companies depend on the extent to which companies conform the rules of the new economic system. To this end, companies are highly interested in “zero failure” and “excellence” concepts which are new organization models of total quality management. EFQM Excellence Model is one of the self assessment tools helping companies in regularly questioning their own activities and results of activities and determining strong and weak points. Based on the EFQM Excellence Model, the aim of this study is to investigate the relation between results of basic performance, leadership, partnership and resources, and process parameters of a company operating in manufacturing industry. In this work, a survey which encompasses the employees and managers of company (M) operating in plastic injection mould design and manufacturing was performed. The data obtained from this survey was analysed by using SPSS16.0 statistics software in respect of factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation and regression analysis. As the results of the analysis have revealed, there is a significant and positive relationship between results of basic performance, leadership, partnership and resources, and process parameters of the company.
