Abstract
Measurements of the transition current as a function of both applied magnetic field and temperature are presented as an equivalent resistivity for various production and prototype magnet conductors. The current range is from a few amperes to 14.0 kiloamperes from \´0\´ T to 10.0 T applied field. The range in temperature was 1.7K to 4.6K. The statistical average of the over 900 Tevatron magnet cable samples was 5.107 amperes for an effective resistivity of
-cm at 5T and 4.2K. Data are presented for the new 10kA, 10T "Rutherford Style Cable" and for the temperature range of 1.7 to 4.3K for NbTi and NbTiTa, and the 6.0T, 7kA, 4.4K conductor for the "SSC" models, "Superconducting Super Collider"
