Abstract :
A fast and reliable image enhancement technique based on the fuzzy relaxation algorithm is proposed. Different orders of fuzzy membership functions and different rank statistics are used to improve the enhancement speed and quality, respectively. The proof of the convergence of the algorithm and some experimental results are provided
