Abstract :
Enhanced gain of an inverted F antenna loaded with a very high permittivity substrate has been demonstrated. Measurements show that the size of the antenna can be reduced without sacrificing the antenna radiation efficiency. The gain-enhancement mechanism, bandwidth, and antenna radiation gain and patterns are presented and discussed
