Abstract :
The authors describe a newly developed Ba-ferrite tape for R-DAT magnetic contact duplication (MCD). Using perpendicular orientation and optimizing magnetic characteristics, perfect compatibility in electromagnetic characteristics with MP tape has been obtained. The new tape´s performance and the magnetic phenomena associated with MCD suggest that MCD duplication is very suitable application for Ba-ferrite media
