Abstract :
A moment method solution is used to evaluate the VSWR of dihedral corrugated horns in terms of the various contributors. Knowledge gleaned in this fashion is then used to control these reflections, and in turn reduce the horn VSWR. Use of an appropriate curved horn waveguide geometry in conjunction with a tapered corrugation input yields a very small VSWR over a reasonable band.
