Abstract :
The design and implementation of a database are major tasks in the construction of finite element programs. Iceberg is a package of Fortran-77 database subroutines, designed for general finite element applications. It provides a virtual memory system and dynamic array dimensioning, together with the ability to manipulate high level data structures such as meshes, fields and problems.
