Abstract :
Simple- and double-layer boundary integral equations as well as Green´s theorem have been applied to solve two-dimensional eddy-current problems. The boundary element method has been used to calculate the appropriate layer distributions. The methods have been used to calculate fields and losses in pipe-type cables. A good agreement with results calculated by means of other methods has been obtained.
