A Multistandard Chip Set for VHS VTR´s

Based on the four chip set for signalprocessing-presented at the ICCE in 1984-we decided to develop a two chip set with higher scale integration. Additional stages for feature modes in all speeds and the capability for "HIGH Q" and NTSC/PAL/SECAM multistandard are also included. The range of new 5 volt low power devices will be completed by a CCD-Delayline, a SECAM Ident IC for SECAM ME processing, a SECAM L processor, a picture improvement IC and two supporting add on IC\´s. This chip set gives the setmaker the flexibility to design a full range of VTR\´s-from "economy" versions up to "top class" models-including one or more standards, with very attractive and competitive prices.
