Abstract :
The authors present an H/sub /spl infin// controller synthesis method for uncertain piecewise linear systems that is based on a piecewise smooth Lyapunov function. It is shown that the stability and the disturbance attenuation performance of the closed-loop control system can be achieved with this piecewise Lyapunov function and the control law can be obtained by solving a set of linear matrix inequalities. A simulation example is used to illustrate the proposed approach.
