Abstract
A novel method for accurate and quick measurement of earth fault loop impedance in a low-voltage system is presented. The theoretical principle of the method is based on sampling of the tested circuit voltage at properly chosen moments. The method makes possible the simultaneous measurement of impedance, resistance, and reactance. The digital display is calibrated such that quantities can be read directly
