Abstract
Due to highly efficient power generation processes, cleaner fossil fuel systems have significantly reduced pollution throughout the world over the last two decades. A large amount of money and effort have been spent on technologies to reduce CO2 and achieve near zero emissions. Despite all efforts, the technologies applied, and the investments made, the "coal image" does not reflect the realities of the industry. It is important to realize that the coal industry is a high-tech and environmentally concerned industry. It is increasingly cleaner, and it aims to reach zero emissions within the coming years
