Abstract
The problem of determination of the current distribution over a cone surface, which will produce a prescribed radiation pattern, is formulated.
pattern and
pattern are defined and expressed in terms of a "potential" function
, in case of currents polarized in the direction of the generating lines of the cone. A matrix relationship is found between coefficients of a series expansion of
and coefficients of a series expansion of the currents. The relationship becomes a direct one to one correspondence in case of an infinite biconical system.
