Abstract :
The reduction of complexity of some multidimensional optimisation algorithms of direction of arrival (DOA) estimation with an array of sensors is studied. It is shown that upon a condition of factorisation of the steering vector, the criterion can be concentrated with respect to DOA, leading to a more simple 1D procedure.
