Abstract
A theory for an all-superconducting electric generator is developed based on Maxwell´s equations. The theory differs in some respects from that for a normal generator. The result is applied to a generator with an armature winding made from coated conductors. The theory emphasizes the importance of surface charge on the superconductor.
