Abstract :
A 2-D micromagnetic model is developed to predict performance of soft adjacent layer biased shielded magnetoresistive (MR) head. A Monte Carlo method is used to predict MR head performances such as isolated pulse amplitude, PW50 and pulse amplitude asymmetry versus critical process parameters
